Candy and candy bars are recognized by all.  Attach a catchy fun poem or saying to a candy bar and hand them out at your next employee meeting to those that attend.  These inexpensive touches can bring a smile (at the silly saying) and may make the extra difference.  Hand these out when visiting discharge planners at local hospitals.  A small remembered treat.

Place Volunteer Job Description books around in your facility where potential volunteers will see them.  Front lobby and reception desk areas are usual areas. Take Volunteer Job Description books to local doctor’s offices to be placed in their waiting rooms.  Hand out to local churches to be placed in approved location or given to their volunteer outreach committee.  Local school leaders will also be able to plan more trips to your facility once they get ideas from your book.  Use your imagination and think about where to place your book.  Great resource tool for activity professionals!
